Save the Dates - Important Early-Season WRHA Dates

We’re getting ready to kick off another season of Wellington Roller Hockey, and we wanted to share a few important early-season dates now so families can get them on their calendars.

Our full season schedule is still being developed, but we didn’t want anyone to miss these important events as we get the 2026–27 season underway.

🏒 Equipment Handout

Saturday, September 5 | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Sunday, September 6 | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Players who need league equipment can pick up their gear during one of these equipment handout sessions.

⭐ Player Evaluations

Saturday, September 12 | Group 1 | 9:00 AM–10:30 AM
Sunday, September 13 | Group 2 | 9:00 AM–10:30 AM

Evaluations will help us prepare for the upcoming season and organize teams while giving players an opportunity to get back on the rink and show their skills.

🛼 First Learn2Skate Class

Saturday, September 19 | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Our Learn2Skate program gets underway, welcoming new and developing skaters as they build their skating and hockey skills in a fun, supportive environment.

🏒 First Scrimmage

Sunday, September 20 | 9:00–10:30 AM

Players will get their first opportunity to hit the rink together for a scrimmage, work with teammates, and get back into game situations.

👥 Team Practices

Monday, September 21 | 6:00–7:00 PM | Group 1
Thursday, September 24 | 6:00–7:00 PM | Group 2

Team practices will begin the following week as players start working together and preparing for the season ahead.
