Welcome to Wellington Roller Hockey Association
The Wellington Roller Hockey Association (WRHA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), volunteer-led organization dedicated to making roller hockey fun, affordable, and accessible for every child. Whether your child is stepping onto the rink for the first time or already loves the game, WRHA provides a safe, supportive environment where every player has the opportunity to learn, improve, and be part of a team.
At WRHA, we believe hockey is about more than goals and championships. Our "Everyone Plays, Play Fair" philosophy emphasizes teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, perseverance, and confidence—life skills that stay with our players long after they leave the rink. We celebrate effort, personal growth, and friendships just as much as wins.
Located at the roller hockey rinks in Wellington Village Park, WRHA has been bringing families together through hockey and community for years. As a completely volunteer-run organization, our league thrives because parents, coaches, and community members generously share their time and talents. Families quickly discover that WRHA is more than a sports league—it's a community where lasting friendships are built both on and off the rink.
One of the things that makes WRHA unique is our commitment to keeping hockey affordable. We know that trying a new sport can be expensive, so we offer a free equipment loan program for new and returning players. With a refundable security deposit, families can borrow the gear needed to get started, removing one of the biggest barriers to playing hockey.
Our players also learn the importance of giving back. From mentoring younger teammates to volunteering in the organization, WRHA encourages every player to become a positive leader both on the rink and in the community.
